Traditionally, the mills and the mining industry have been the dominant industries here as well as in in the U.S., where bluegrass music was born. Bluegrass thrives in Torsåker outside Gävle. Jonas Kjellgren, who plays the mandolin and sings in the band Downhill Bluegrass Band that performes at  Torsåker Bluegrass Festival today, has participated at most of the festivals since its beginning 25 years ago…"
